Tommyjoe joined the military in 1987 through 1995, where he worked as a motor pool mechanic working on generators, motorcycles, heavy expanded military tactical trucks, and equipment. Tommyjoe was honorably discharged due to a medical incident sustained during active duty. He then went on to work in the public sector as a diesel, electric, and automotive mechanic. In 2001, Tommyjoe graduated from TESST College with a degree in electric/mechanical controls and computer repair. In 2005, Tommyjoe went to work for Health and Human Service/NIH for seventeen years as a Chief Building Engineer. During his employment with the federal government, he worked with high-pressure steam and condensate systems, HVAC, plumbing, Siemens and Johnson controls, and other operating systems. Over the course of his military and civilian life, he has attained numerous certifications and awards.
Prior to his HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING mechanical career, John worked with multiple police departments in Maryland as a sworn police officer. After leaving the force in 2005 and receiving several recognition awards and commendations, John went on to study heating and air-conditioning at Lincoln Technical Institute in Columbia, MD, where he graduated in 2007. Immediately after graduation, John was offered employment as a Chief Building Engineer for Health and Human Services/NIH. He worked at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda campus, for fifteen years. He has extensive knowledge in high-pressure steam and condensate systems, HVAC (HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITION) and, mechanical controls, plumbing & electrical systems, and all other building automation equipment. John holds Universal CFC Recovery Systems and Siemens and Johnson Controls certifications. He is certified as a Lead Paint Risk Assessor and Inspector in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
Yvette has over 35 years of experience working to provide home health care within the framework of the VA. She is passionate about helping our heroes, the veteran community, with the care they need. Yvette specializes in helping those veterans with Dementia, Parkinson’s, ALS, and PTSD. Her business acumen provides excellent administration and low turnover in her business ventures.
